Project\u2019s main focus is \u00a0the \u00a0digital competences of educators.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2013, the European Commission\u00a0 realised that teachers like new technologies but don\u2019t feel confident using them.<\/span><\/p>\n There are 3 main issues. \u00a0Firstly, educators lack the necessary skills and competences to apply digital pedagogy, so there is a need for programmes for educators to develop those skills, especially for those who work in non-technological subject areas. Lastly, there is a lack of practical knowledge and solutions on how to implement digital pedagogy in adult classes.<\/span><\/p>\n The target group are, obviously, educators involved in adult learning and educators\u2019 trainers, but also institutional managers and those responsible for strategy at regional or consortium level, adult learners and trainers in other educational sectors, especially for vocational and educational training.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.27.4″ text_font=”||||||||” text_font_size=”16px” text_line_height=”2em” header_2_font=”Rubik|500||on|||||” header_2_text_color=”#ff8f00″ header_2_font_size=”14px” header_2_letter_spacing=”1px” header_2_line_height=”1.5em” header_3_font=”Rubik|500|||||||” header_3_font_size=”38px” header_3_line_height=”1.4em” min_height=”482px” custom_margin=”5px|||||” custom_padding=”20px|||||” header_2_font_size_tablet=”42px” header_2_font_size_phone=”32px” header_2_font_size_last_edited=”off|desktop” header_3_font_size_tablet=”28px” header_3_font_size_phone=”20px” header_3_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” locked=”off”]<\/p>\n The project has several \u00a0objectives \u00a0but is primarily intended to build upon and extend the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigiCompEdu). It should also provide all the theoretical and practical information needed by educators in order to understand digital pedagogy and improve their digital competences. \u00a0They will ultimately be able to \u00a0create, evaluate and share their own digital \u2018recipes\u2019 s.<\/span><\/p>\n The use of a cooking and recipe metaphor is designed to ensure better understanding of the project, by giving a practical step by step guide to follow to create the result required. \u00a0 This will be a comprehensive and, above all, a practice-driven guide In addition, it is intended to empower and support \u00a0educators to strengthen their performance through the development of an online community where educators can effectively access, share and create knowledge, as well as strengthen their commitment to the profession.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”3.28″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”3.28″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.6.0″ hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n Project started 1st of\u00a0October 2018 <\/strong>and its duration is 24 months<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Project is funded by the\u00a0Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership for adult education <\/strong>through the Greek National Agency,\u00a0State Scholarships Foundation<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Four intellectual outcomes will be produced during the project period<\/p>\n <\/p>\n O1 \u2013\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Toolkit for Educators<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n O2 \u2013\u00a0<\/span>Digital Pedagogy Cookbook<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n O3 \u2013\u00a0<\/span>Community of Practice for Digital Pedagogy<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\nIntellectual outcomes<\/h2>\n
