Description

This recipe is really useful to achieve great quality audio of a conversations. The app is conceived as a podcast app, but in the learning context, it can be used to record conversations and share them afterwards.

How to do it (step by step)

Step 1

Download the Anchor app and create an account.

Step 2

Invite friends (other students in the call) to join. To do that, click in the tools (+) button, then in “Invite friends to join” and in “invite friends”.

Step 3

Once they are ready, the recording of the conversation will start. This app records the audio in all the devices used in the conversation, thus making the audio quality much better.

Step 4

Once you have finished the conversation (i.e. oral exam) click in “Finish recording”.

Step 5

The recording may take a while to appear in the library since it has to compile different audios from different sources. Once it appears in the library, the audio can be exported and shared with the teacher.

There is more…

This tool can be used not only to record oral exams or conversations but also excerpts from theatre plays, books, poems…
